Perfect CV

The objective of Perfect CV is to simulate the modern resume-screening process through an interactive competition. Participants will structure raw content into professional resumes and test them against Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), tools now widely used in recruitment. By combining competitive spirit, technical exposure, and professional skill-building, the event ensures both engagement and practical learning.

Registration Process

• Teams must register on the official Saturnalia registration platform before the deadline mentioned on the platform.
• Participants can register individually or as a team (2–4 members).
• Registration Fees: Nil

Event Flow

Kickoff (Bonus Session)

• Short, interactive explanation of resume-building essentials: formatting, tailoring, and avoiding common mistakes.
• Guidance on how ATS systems work and what factors influence shortlisting.

Competition Phase (via Portal)

• The portal opens for participants to submit resumes.
• Raw content (academic, project, and experience data) is provided.
• Participants must structure and format resumes in the allotted time.

Live ATS Checkpoints

• At specific intervals, the portal allows two ATS checks per participant.
• Each ATS run provides instant feedback on keyword optimization, readability, and structure.
• Participants can refine their resumes based on these insights before final submission.

Final Submission

• Participants submit their polished resumes through the portal.
• Resumes are scored on a combination of ATS evaluation and jury review.
• Mentors and the organizing team will be present throughout to assist participants with doubts and guidance.

Evaluation Criteria

• ATS Score (40%) – Keyword optimization, formatting, readability.
• Content & Clarity (30%) – How well the content is structured and highlighted.
• Design & Professional Appeal (30%) – Overall presentation and industry readiness.
