Event Description โ
- The stage is a battlefield of beatsโno scripts, no prep, only instinct.
- Random tracks drop and you face your opponent head-on in raw, improvised face-offs.
- Whether solo or duo, every move is a strike, every rhythm a weapon.
- Wild, unpredictable, and only the bold survive.

Registration Process โ
- Teams must register on the official Saturnalia registration platform before the deadline mentioned on the platform.
- Participation of registered teams is subject to shortlisting in case of an overwhelming response (the process and requirements for shortlisting will be shared with the participants if required).
- In case of shortlisting, only the shortlisted teams (otherwise, all the teams) will be notified of the further process and will have to follow the below-mentioned steps:
- Teams should mail the final team list (mentioning the number of male and female members, specifying the Team Leader, their contact details, and the required sounds inventory with their college name to the given POC).
- Teams will then complete the required forms and make the necessary payments (for non-Thapar students).
- For the selected teams, on-the-spot registration by the group is compulsory for slotting.
- Participation is exclusively open to college students possessing valid ID cards for the current year.

Rules and Regulations โ
Who is eligible? โ
- Currently registered students of a college are allowed to participate.
- Cross-college teams are not allowed.
Performance Guidelines โ
- Teams of 1-2 allowed (solo or duet; duo must remain the same throughout the competition).
- Display of vulgarity in any form will lead to disqualification.
- Submit the voice-over and soundtrack for prepared choreography round at least 12 hours in advance.
- Participants are not allowed to reveal/advertise their college; doing so will lead to disqualification.
- There will be two rounds:
- Round 1: Choreography
- Each team gets 1 minute to perform onstage.
- Format: Prepared Choreography.
- Participants must adhere to the time limit or face penalties.
- Round 2: Face-off
- Two teams are randomly chosen for a face-off.
- Format: Battle only (no prepared choreography).
- Teams dance to random songs alternatively.
- On the last song, both teams must dance on cue.
- In case of a duo vs solo team in a face-off, the duo can send one participant and switch between.

- By entering this competition, you agree to be bound by the abovementioned rules.
- The results given by the judges will be final.
- Only the Thapar Institute Of Engineering and Technology reserves the right to make changes to the result if needed, under extreme circumstances, and disqualify any entry at any time in the event it is determined that the entrant has not complied with these rules or has acted in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner.
- TIET reserves the right to disqualify any team promoting obscenity through their act.
- TIET reserves the right to cancel the competition in unforeseen circumstances.
- TIET reserves the right to change the prize money before the commencement of the final round.
- In the case of any dispute, the organizerโs decision will be final and binding.
- Date and Time are subject to change
- The organizers are not responsible for the non-completion / non-occurrence of the event.
- The organizers have all the right to cancel, reschedule, postpone, and amend the show.
- Any equipment provided by TIET or any of its associates must not be damaged in any way. If damaged, it must be compensated for by the liable participant/team.
- In any dispute, the organizerโs decisions are final and binding on the applicant.
- The number of entries determines the deadlines.
- Property brought by the participant is their responsibility, not TIET or any of its associate's liability under any circumstances.
- Prizes will be awarded subject to adequate participation. The organizing committee reserves the right to modify or withdraw prizes if participation is below the expected threshold.
- The decisions of the Jury/Judges are final.
