Event Overview

InnoQuest is divided into three key phases conducted on the same day:
Exploration and Research: Teams explore assigned campus zones to identify real-world problems by conducting at least 3 interviews.
Ideation & Deck Formation: Teams return to the venue and create a business idea deck (maximum 10 slides).
Final Pitch Round: Shortlisted teams pitch their ideas to a panel of judges.

Submission Guidelines

Each team must submit a pitch deck (PDF format) as per the structure shared during the event briefing including:

  • Problem identified, supporting insights from field research
  • Proposed business solution, feasibility, and unique value proposition

All submissions must be made within the given timeframe. Late submissions will not be accepted.
Teams are required to upload recorded interviews (video format preferred) and photos/selfies as proof.
External participants must not include any institutional branding or names in their decks to ensure unbiased judging.

Rounds Overview

Round 1: Exploration and Discovery
Teams will be assigned specific campus zones to prevent crowding. They must conduct at least 3 short interviews (students, vendors, or staff). Findings should be documented clearly and backed by brief notes or observations. The objective is to identify a problem that holds entrepreneurial potential.

Round 2: Ideation & Deck Formation
Teams return to the main venue for analysis and brainstorming. Using insights from Round 1, each team formulates a viable business idea addressing their chosen problem. The presentation must capture both problem relevance and solution feasibility.

Round 3: Final Pitch Round
Selected teams present live before the judging panel. Each team gets 5 minutes for their presentation and 3 minutes for Q&A. Presentations should highlight the problem discovered, the proposed business solution, and its feasibility or potential scalability.
